Day 01:  Arrive in Delhi    

Meet & greet on arrival at Delhi Airport by our representative, followed by assisted transfer to your hotel. Upon arrival & check in. Once the check in formalities will be done, rest of the day will be free to relax and unwind. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02: Exploring Delhi (Avoid Sundays)

After breakfast, embark on a day of exploring Delhi, a city that beautifully blends history with modernity! Start the morning by immersing yourself in the historic side of Delhi with a heritage walk through its vibrant and bustling streets, particularly Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi. Highlights of the walk include:

  • Khari Baoli: This is a must-see for any food lover or chef, as it leads you through Asia's largest spice market, possibly the biggest in the world, where the aroma of spices fills the air.
  • Dariba Kalan: A narrow lane filled with centuries-old shops where silver and gold jewelry is sold by weight. The jewelers here are descendants of those who once served the emperors, and the area also features ancient perfumeries selling exquisite lotus and rose attars (distilled essences).
  • Kinari Bazaar: This glittering market is full of vibrant items such as ornate braids, turbans, fake swords, garlands made of rupee notes, and colorful face masks of gods and warriors.

Later, visit the Jama Masjid, one of the most magnificent mosques built by the Mughals. Due to heavy congestion around the area, you can decide whether you'd like to get off here or continue on. Drive past the Red Fort, the historic site where India's freedom from British rule was proclaimed, and Raj Ghat, the memorial where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.

Day 03 – Delhi

Begin your morning with a special 2-hour cooking session, where you'll learn to prepare some classic Indian dishes. This hands-on experience will give you insight into the rich flavors and techniques of Indian cuisine.

In the afternoon, we’ll explore New Delhi, starting with a visit to the Rashtrapati Bhawan, an impressive structure that rises majestically and leads down to India Gate. The grand avenue, known as Rajpath, hosts the annual Republic Day parade. The area’s design, masterminded by Sir Edwin Lutyens, has remained captivating throughout the years. We’ll then drive past the Rashtrapati Bhawan and head to the Qutub Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty, who ascended the throne of Delhi in 1206. This towering red sandstone structure, reaching a height of 72.5 meters, features intricate carvings and verses from the Quran. A symbol of Muslim rule over Delhi, the Qutub Minar is a remarkable testament to the era’s architectural brilliance.

Day 04: Drive from Delhi to Jaipur (285 km / 6 hours)

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.

Day 05: Exploring Jaipur

This morning, we begin with a visit to Amber Fort, where you can enjoy an elephant ride up to the fort (please consult your guide for details). If you'd prefer, you can opt for a local jeep to take you from the parking area to the fort gate for an uphill ride, available for direct payment.

In the afternoon, we will explore the city, starting with the City Palace, a sprawling complex with courtyards, gardens, and buildings that showcase a perfect fusion of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Next, visit the Royal Observatory, an astronomical marvel with unique features, followed by a stroll through the local Bazaar.

We’ll also drive past the beautifully restored Jal Mahal, a picturesque royal pavilion situated in the middle of a lake.

Later, enjoy some free time to shop in the vibrant Bapu Bazaar, known for its colorful array of goods.

Highlight – Evening at a Local Indian Family Home: In the evening, experience a rickshaw ride to visit local vegetable shops, where you’ll shop for fresh ingredients. Then, head to a local Indian family’s home for an authentic dinner, where the same vegetables will be used to prepare a traditional meal for you. This is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in Rajasthan’s culture, traditions, and stories. Ladies will also receive a lesson in tying a saree.

Day 06: Exploring Jaipur

After breakfast, embark on a city tour to explore the magnificent Maharaja’s City Palace, the iconic Palace of Winds, and the fascinating Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory. Later, visit the serene Birla Temple to witness the Aarti ceremony, a sacred evening ritual of worship.

In the evening, explore the Museum of Gem & Jewellery and the vibrant Handicrafts Market. Enjoy some time to discover local treasures before heading back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Additionally, immerse yourself in the art of Mehndi (henna), a traditional and temporary design applied to the hands, feet, and body. Made from the dried leaves of the henna plant, this intricate artwork is often created during weddings, festivals, and other special occasions.

Day 07: Jaipur to Ranthambore (Approx. 120 km / 3 hrs drive)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Ranthambore. In the afternoon, enjoy a thrilling jungle safari at Ranthambore National Park. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 09: Ranthambore to Fatehpur Sikri / Agra (240 km / 5 hrs drive + visit)

After breakfast, drive to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal. En route, make a brief stop at Fatehpur Sikri to explore the red sandstone Mughal palatial complex, which includes a mosque built by Emperor Akbar, dedicated to Sufi Saint Sheikh Salim Chisti, who blessed Akbar with a son.

Arrive in Agra and check into your hotel.

Highlight: In the evening, enjoy “Mohabbat the Taj,” an 80-minute play that narrates the eternal love story of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal, set in the grandeur of the Mughal era.

In the afternoon, visit Mother Teresa’s Orphanage, where you’ll spend time with children, distributing gifts and sharing in the experience.

Later, enjoy tea or coffee at Sheroes Hangout Café, an inspiring cafe run by acid attack survivors. The cafe features a library and handicrafts made by the women.

Day 11: Agra to Delhi & Fly to Varanasi

Drive to Delhi for your flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in.

Day 12: Day in Varanasi

Later, explore the Sarnath ruins, where Buddha delivered his first sermon, and the Sarnath Museum, which showcases findings from the excavation site.

In the evening, attend the Aarti ceremony at the Ganges ghats, an unforgettable spiritual experience.
